I have a 10 year old OTTB. He is a hard keeper. I have been using this product for 1 1/2 months and I am EXTREMELY impressed. It is benefiting both my OTTB and QH, as each have different needs. This is an EXCELLENT product!!!! I highly recommend SafeChoice for ANY horse, regardless of age or breed!!!!!!!!!!

Love this horse feed!

My 3 American Saddlebreds have done fantastic on this feed. They literally thrive on it. I don't have to feed as much of it as other brands to maintain their weight. I feed it along with good alfalfa hay. I won't feed anything else. My daughter feeds her saddlebred who has Thyroid issues the Safe Choice Special Care. We have had amazing results with it in just a month. Keep up the good work Nutrena.

I feed safe choice to my daughters barrel horse. My horse came down with a bad case of ulcers. The vet recommend it so I tried it 3 years ago n she has been on it since. I also noticed she us not sore no more either. Great feed.

No more buying different feeds for different horses on the farm. Only one feed bin. The lower sugar and starch keeps my horses calm and level headed. This means easier to train, ride, better concentration and even fewer injuries out in the pasture. For those of you who haven't tried this yet, you will see a mental and physical change in your horses. Glowing, healthy and relaxed horses! And they love the taste too. And much cheaper than comparable brands.

When my horse showed signs of cushings and laminitis I took him off safe choice original and put him on a pellet grain with 10% starch content.
He is sound and shedding his coat. The new feed is cheaper and better tolerated. _He only gets a half a scoop twice a day.

I love this product! I feel good in knowing my pleasure horses are getting the nutrition fit for them. Safechoice along with hay and beetpulp has kept my horses nice and fit all winter! :)

This feed is great! My picky eater will dive in! It is gentle on my horse that is prone to ulcers and it keeps weight on my hard keeper! Perfect Feed to feed to everyone in the barn! Even great for my Preformance horses!

Safe Choice is a great feed for our horses
When we initially switched, there was no problem with them eating it. Now both of them anxiously await their grain time. Plus our vet really approves of it too.

I switched to Safe Choice several years ago when our one horse was diagnosed with PSSM. I began feeding it to both our trail horses and they do excellent on it. We do a lot of long distance traveling and spend long hours on the trail in very rough terrain and I can increase their grain intake and not worry about colic or founder. Now during trail riding season, I switch to the new Safe Choice Perform.

Absolutely hands-down the best equine feed ever produced. For anyone who has tried everything for the hard keeper... try this feed! You will be amazed. Trying to keep weight on my 28 YO Appaloosa stallion was virtually impossible. Nothing worked until about a year ago when a friend told me about this remarkable product. Results were almost immediate and now after almost a year on your product, he is maintaining his weight & looks 20 years younger. This feed saved his life! Thanks so very much for this product. This is now the only feed in my barn.

I have a boarding/breeding facility with approximately 40 - 50 horses. The feed has worked well for me expecially since it has a high fat content, which helps to maintain weight on these horses. I can use tha same feed for my broodmares as well as the babies and also the riding horses. That is important since I have a hired hand and I don't have to worry that he will forget and feed the wrong feed to a horse and cause him to colic.

I have a 27 yr old mare that is doing really well on this feed she looks and acts like a teenager. I tried the senior feeds but they had way to much protine, with this feed it has a higher fat content and less protine. I just can't say enough about this feed its the best.

I like the fact that I can feed various ages, without having to use different ones for each horse. I started using this 3 years ago for my then 22 year old. He is now 25 and my main riding horse, still going strong. I ride him on average about 75 miles a week on very rocky, hilly trails. Not one person that sees him can believe he is 25.

Its been about 6 years since we have started feeding Nutrena Safe Choice..Way back then we sadly lost two of our favorite youngsters to colic and our Vet (at the time) did indeed recommend ditching our "regular" feed and go to "Safe Choice"...Ever since we have NEVER turned back..or wanted to!!...
No... it is by no way the cheaper option but then again..ever since we have switched to Nutrena we have had NO problems with colic and all our many breeds look healthy and glossy!!..We are very happy with how our guys and girls are looking and we will never change..
